We have a special procedure to protect your information from any potential abuse or destruction to the maximum extent possible with the help of current technology. If you fail to read this Privacy Policy, it will neither constitute any valid ground to exclude you from any liability arising out of this Privacy Policy nor create any rights. This Privacy Policy attempts to explain how BBT collects uses, processes, stores or disposes of your User Information.
DEFINITIONS:
This Privacy Policy is part of the User Agreement and, unless expressly provided hereunder, all words and expressions with the first letter in capital have the same meanings as defined in the Terms of Use, Membership Terms, and Subscription Agreement.
USER INFORMATION:
The User Information is classified into personal information and non-personal information. Personal information includes all kinds of information which is unique to you and which may be used to identify you such as personal name, your business name, address, phone number, email, geolocation, IP address, your login information, business information, bank account details, tax details, payment method details, and Confidential Information.
Collection of Personal Information:
We collect your Personal Information directly from you at the time you create or login your User Account, subscribe to or use our Services, use Support or otherwise contact us through our office phone number, or email address. Unless it is essential for the provision of the Services, you may opt not to provide us with your Personal Information. You must not provide us with Personal Information about any person or entity that you are not authorized to share with us. In the cases where the User Information provided by you includes the Personal Information about any person or entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority or obtained valid consent from such person or entity for the use, process, storage, or disposal of such information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Uses of Personal Information:
Primarily, we use your Personal Information to provide you with the Services and the matters incidental to the provisions of the Services. We don’t use the Personal Information for any purpose other than stated in this Privacy Policy. We use the Personal Information for the following purposes:
i. To verify the User’s identity;
ii. To administer and operate the Services and Platform;
iii. To provide you with the Services;
iv. To maintain the record of the Users and the Subscription Fee;
v. To assist the Users in resolving their technical problems in connection with the Services;
vi. To communicate about the latest offers, features, and products relating to the Services;
vii. To notify you of any development in BBT, including, without limitation, the changes in the Services and the User Agreement;
viii. To Comply with any legal or regulatory requirements;

xi. To maintain the record of the subscriptions of third party services; and/or
xii. To process the Subscription Fee or any refunds.
Unless otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy, we don’t disclose, transfer, lease, or share your User Information to any person or entity external to BBT.
Non-Personal and Anonymous Data;
We collect non-personal information for different research and analysis purposes. Such purposes may include the following:
i. To understand the user behavior and preferences;
ii. To improve the Services;
iii. To determine and analyze the geographical scope of the use of the Services;
iv. To optimize user experience; and/or
v. To tailor the Services according to the needs of business organizations.
USE OF COOKIES:
We use cookies while providing the Services. A cookie is a text-only file that is placed on your computer or device when you access our Website. The role of the third-party hosting service provider(s) is to provide a storage facility in connection with the Services. No third-party hosting service provider(s) may use or permit to use of the User Information beyond the scope of their services. In the ordinary course of the business, we enjoy full and effective control over your User Information while it is stored on the third-party server(s). In no case, the User Information is transferred to any other country with the laws providing less protection to your User Information.
USER INFORMATION PROVIDED TO THIRD-PARTY PROVIDER(S):
You provide a certain part of your User Information to the Third Party Provider(s) for the Third Party Services such as third party bookkeeping software and third-party payment transfer service provider(s). In such cases, your User Information will be governed by the third-party privacy policies. You are requested to review the applicable third-party privacy policy before using their services.
SECURITY OF USER INFORMATION:
We use our best efforts, skills, and technology to protect your User Information. We provide access to your User Information to a limited number of our staff members who are bound by a binding legal agreement to maintain the confidentiality of your User Information. The technology used for the security of your User Information is of industry standards including, without limitation, the latest and updated versions of antivirus and firewall, etc. The User Information is transmitted through secure networks.
In no case can we give you a guarantee that your User Information is 100% secure thanks to the vulnerability of internet security. You assume all potential risks of unauthorized access, disclosure, modification or destruction that may be caused to your User Information in the course of the use of our Services.
Your User Information may be disclosed to the legitimate authority of the United States or any foreign country if required under the USA laws.
Your payment method details such as your credit card are neither stored by the Services nor accessed by our staff members. Your payment details are encrypted and securely stored by third-party providers. It makes us automatically bill the credit card service provider(s) on the monthly basis. You are advised to review the third-party privacy policy before processing the payment through our relevant service provider(s).
Duration of Storage and Disposal of User Information:
We retain the User Information as long as we reasonably need it. When we in our sole discretion decide that we no longer need the User Information, we dispose of the same. We use means, methods, and technology of industry standards while deleting your User Information from our storage locations.
COMMUNICATION WITH USER:
We may communicate with you in connection with the Services or payment of the Subscription Fee. In addition, we may make you know about our latest offers, services, and products or similar matters on regular basis. We believe that you may be interested in such communications. Except the communications are related to the provision of the Services, amendment of the User Agreement, or Subscription Fee, you may opt-out from the marketing-related communications by writing to us through info@balancebooktax.com
AMENDMENTS AND ADDITIONS:
We may make amendments and additions to the Privacy Policy by notifying our existing Subscribers before 14 days the proposed amendments or additions become effective.
GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION:
This Privacy Policy is governed by the applicable laws of the State of Florida, USA. All disputes arising from this Privacy Policy shall be resolved as provided in the Terms of Use.
